INSURANCE ACCEPTED

Health Insurance Plan Participation Corona Family Care Doctors participate in a variety of health insurance plans. Insurance plans constantly change their provider list. For this reason, you may wish to verify our participation in your health plan immediately before your appointment. If you do not have health insurance, we also gladly accept patients who can pay by either cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.


REFERRALS AND MANAGED CARE


Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO’s) and other forms of managed care are becoming more common types of health insurance. If you have one of these plans, you and your physician have responsibilities in “managing” your care. Typically, this will be coordinated by your family physician. If it is necessary to see a specialist, a referral is required. You should make an appointment with your Primary care physician in order to obtain a referral. The referral process can take five to seven days. Upon completion your referral will be faxed to the specialist. You may contact the referral coordinator at our office or the specialist office to confirm the referral has been received prior to your scheduled appointment. Please make sure that our office has your current insurance information so your referral can be processed accurately and efficiently.
